My hope is to provide a resource for preaching the Gospel organized around appointed scriptures for Sundays and Holy Days contained in the Revised Common Lectionary.

If you are new to using this lectionary or are just considering its use, I have tailored this blog for you. If you are an old hand at using it, I believe that you may still find the blog interesting and helpful. You may not agree with everything that is said here. That is OK. Please feel free to comment on anything that I have written. Hopefully this blog will stimulate your thought.

My goal has always been to integrate the liturgical, evangelical, and pentecostal branches of the faith. I believe they compliment each other and should not be viewed as separate belief systems which oppose one another. Each one may be useful insofar as it points us to Jesus Christ Lord and Savior.

Neither one of these expressions of faith should be worshipped. Rather, they should all help facilitate worship. I believe that when they are combined they are capable of providing an enriched experience of worship.

We are all on a journey in the Christian faith. None of us have arrived. Let us stimulate and encourage one another. Please share your thoughts, suggestions, and concerns. May our Lord richly bless you and your ministry.
